Driven around or wandering on foot, you’ll visit some of the best-loved places in this gorgeous National Park, taking time to admire the sights and recharge your batteries.

Southern Lakes – visit the village where Worsdworth is buried, discover the ‘Dragon’s Cave’ at Rydal Water, marvel at iconic mountains where famous climbers test their skills, wander by the lake where Campbell lost his race in Bluebird and the graceful Gondola glides, shop in delightful Hawkshead, meander in Beatrix Potter’s footsteps and cross Windermere on the quirkiest ferry in the North West.
Start from Ambleside and visit Grasmere, Rydal Water, Elterwater, The Langdale Valley, Coniston, Hawkshead and via the ferry back to Ambleside
Northern Lakes - Discover the place that inspired the start of the National Trust, climb the giant boulder if you dare, visit the highest tourist attraction in the area, find out about the loveliest maiden in Cumbria, view ospreys if you are lucky and travel back in time to the most visually impressive pre-historic site in England.
Start from Keswick and visit Derwentwater, Borrowdale, Honister, Buttermere, Whinlatter Forest, Newlands Valley, Castlerigg Stone Circle and back to Keswick
