Zoë Dawes - The Quirky Traveller Training TeamZoë Dawes, creator of award-winning blog The Quirky Traveller and TQT Training, has been a qualified leadership trainer and coach since 1990.  She worked for HSBC in Hong Kong and a multi-media consultancy in Singapore.  She writes articles, runs training courses, seminars and talks for the tourism and hospitality sector including TNT Travel, Laterooms, Rough Guides, Nurture Lakeland, Visit Britain and Traverse Media. She’s also part of Travelator Media group.

Martin Dunford

Martin Dunford - The Quirky Traveller training Team

Martin Dunford is one of the founders and former publisher of the best-selling travel guide series Rough Guides and now runs the UK travel consultancy and digital publisher Cool Places, a selection of Britain’s top places to sleep, eat, drink, and shop, featuring the best hotels, cottages, restaurants and pubs.

John McKeown

John McKeown - The Quirky Traveller Training TeamJohn McKeown is the owner of Lakes Creative, a video marketing company based in Cumbria, responsible for creating many Lake District travel and hospitality videos. John been in broadcast TV for 20 years, working for BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky and most recently the Host Broadcasters of the World Cup in Brazil.

His expertise includes:

Diane Nowell

Diane Nowell - TQT Training TeamDiane Nowell of Copywritten has been writing and editing content for features, blogs and websites for over 20 years. She creates impactful online marketing campaigns enabling businesses to build meaningful dialogue with clients and prospects. Diane has worked with a number of companies in the travel sector, including superyacht hotel pioneers Sunborn International, independent specialist Indus Experiences and eco-lodge operators Tarset Tor.

Mark Carr

Mark Carr - TQT Training TeamMark Carr, owner of Mark Carr Photography since 2003, specialises in photography for the tourism and hospitality Sector with a particular emphasis on food photography. He creates images for advertising, editorial, websites, training, PR and  events such as food festivals, conferences eg Takeaway Expo 2014, trade shows ee Skills for Chefs and competitions. He works with Michelin Star Restaurants, Hotels and Tourist Attractions around the UK and Europe.

His expertise includes:

Mike Pezet

Mike Pezet - TQT Training TeamMike Pezet, a freelance trainer,  has a wide range and depth of experience as a leadership coach and facilitator built over 15 years of working with multi nationals through to small owner/operator enterprises. He has inside knowledge of the adventure industry having been a high altitude climber and expedition organiser in the 1980’s, travelling and climbing in remote regions such as K2 in Pakistan, McKinley in Alaska, Everest in Nepal. Mike’s most memorable climb was an illicit moonlight ascent of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.
